Freeing Dignity: Chapter 6, The Grand Finale

This is considered as the last chapter of this story. I've abandoned this project and began a new one. That one is still ongoing, thus ends this one. So, enjoy the final installment of this story. After a year in development, it has finally been released. This is a long one, by the way....

The next morning, I had awaken to the sound of an alarm, I was wondering why there was an alarm; it sounded like the alarm used whenever someone wanted to escape. There were officers running all around with rifles and what not. All of the usual weaponry. I sit up in my bunk and ask Dignity what was going on. He doesn't reply. "Dignity! Answer me!" still no response. A guard runs by and yells "He's the one escaping you idiot!" that infuriated me more than before. "Hey, shut up!" but he had not heard what I said. I go up the my cell door and grab onto the bars. I listen closely in case I can hear gunshots, but nothing has surfaced just yet. But all of a sudden, I hear a burst of them, a lot of them. Mostly coming out of a shotgun. Could they have captured him or even murdered him? I had to find out. I heard a scream and multiple screams from guards. That doesn't sound like Dignity. At all... Must have he shot another guard? If so, he's in larger trouble than he already was in. I hear large thumps on the ground as if someone was running. It's Dignity! What's he doing with a rifle in his hand? He looks into my cell and smiles. Could this mean he's successful? The guards chase after him and start shooting. They see me up and tell me to lay down, I don't. One stops and walks back. He then proceeded to shoot me! Why would he do this? I'm in huge pain right now, I was shot near my chest. I didn't do anything wrong. That shot was the last straw. I had to get out of here. I heard a large thump on the ground. Could they have hit him? Seems as though they have. I hear moaning and a lot of noises from the ground. They are dragging him back into his cell. They can't do that! "Oh, they can" a voice had said. It was Dignity. "They have every right too. I killed a few of their stupid guards. Serves them right." Dignity had surprised me with that statement a few. A guard is walking past my cell, I run up to my door. I can see he stopped at Dignity's door. He pulls out a gun. I don't know how Dignity is reacting, but it doesn't sound like he's reacting at all. The guard points it at Dignity. "It appears as though you've killed a few of our guys, this means you will die." said the guard. "I don't care! All I know is that my friend Jono over here helped me plan my escape. I'm in shock, why would he put this on me? "Jono wouldn't do such a thing.." said the guard. He shoots Dignity several times. No screams or anything from him. Could this mean that he had died? The guard points his rifle at me... "Jono... You didn't help him plan this.. I know. But, you are his friend now. You collaborated with him all night." said the guard in a chilling voice. "No I didn't!" I replied loudly. He then put his fingers over the trigger and.........

This story was total fiction. All was out of my mind and creativity. This wasn't how it was originally planned to end, but with me not caring anymore or even wanting to end it, I decided to make that the ending. I hope you've enjoyed the story, and have had a nice read!

Freeing Dignity: Chapter 5

Time has been going by slowly. It had barely been a few hours after noon and it felt like I barely arrived. At night, and I knew it was nighttime because they had fed us dinner. The dinner wasn't so great, it was just some meat and mashed potatoes with milk. The sugary drinks were for those users who had a lighter sentence than mine. I was exhausted from this very boring day, staying in my cell all day. I heard the users with sentences like mine and lower get to go outside, I can't wait. In my dream, I had dreamed of the user that I had scammed, I saw his face which was filled with despair. I woke up, we had to yell out to ask what time it was. "What time is it!?" I yelled. "3:45am!!" someone replied back. "Thanks!" I yelled back. I went back to sleep. "Wake up! It's work time!" someone had yelled. I yelled "What time is it?!" someone replied with "4:00am!" We have to wake up at 4 am in the morning? All cell doors opened, I walked out, so did Dignity. We walked towards the courtyard to receive orders. "Have you ever been here, Jono?" asked Dignity. "No," I replied. "Well, we have to wake up every morning to go work." Dignity said. "Work where?" I asked. "In the fields, boy" Dignity replied. I felt confident that this was going to be an easy job. I was wrong. I was forced to break rocks in half to make some new tables, it took maybe like thirty or more hits to break just one. I managed to break about forty in one day, it took from four until seven in the afternoon. We took a lunch break at twelve in the afternoon, then it was back to work. We all got back into our cells to wait until the day ended. I marked on the wall of my cell with a chalk piece I had found on the floor "II" in Roman numerals meaning "two" days had passed. We were served a small piece of steak with mashed potatoes and milk again. I asked Dignity "what we were going to do tomorrow" he replied saying "I don't know." "Why don't you know?" I asked. "Well, because all users with lighter sentences have different things to do, I think you have recreational time tomorrow, while I have to work." replied Dignity. "Why do you have to work?" I asked. "Go to bed," he replied. "Wait why!?" I asked. He didn't answer. It was obvious that he didn't want to talk about this tonight, so I laid on my bed and closed my eyes and fell asleep.

Freeing Dignity: Chapter 4

I took a seat on a bench inside of my cell. I had seen some chalk and on the wall it marked "XIV," which mean't fourteen in roman numerals. I knew the former inmate in Banland had been banned for fourteen days, just like me. I heard someone yawn in some other cell. He called out to me "Hey, new guy." said the unknown voice. "What?" I replied, not knowing who was speaking to me. "Do you know who I am?" said unknown. "Are you the guy in the cell next to me?" I said. "Yes, I am" said the unknown voice. "Dignity?" I said "Yes, it's me." said Dignity. "How were you banished?" I had told Dignity. "I don't really want to talk about it," Dignity replied. The days in Banland had seemed to go by slowly, it was even worse that it had always been night here in Banland because of the lack of windows. The only air I got was from the main entrance, which was only a few feet away. Someone threw some breakfast into my cell, I knew then that it was morning. I could finally tell time in this cell by looking at the food. I ate the food and took a drink out of the water with happiness. Dignity didn't sound so happy. "Not this food again!" exclaimed Dignity. "Why don't you like the food?" I replied. "Because I have gotten the same food for weeks!" exclaimed Dignity. "Well, is this all they serve?" I replied. "No, but it has been all they have served for breakfast for the past week, I'm sick of it." replied Dignity. "Oh..." I replied. I told Dignity "How long have you been in here?" He replied with "More than two years." I didn't realize that he was the person that was sentenced here for life. "Do you get bored of being in here?" I told him. "Well, I've gotten used to this life." replied Dignity. "Stop talking to me for today" Dignity had said to me. "Alright," I replied in a soft voice. The afternoon had arrived and I knew because they had thrown my lunch into my cell. The lunch was a sandwich with water. I ate it quickly. The day had only been half way through. Time was going by too slow.

Freeing Dignity: Chapter 3

I was sweating so much in the officer's car. I was so hungry and thirsty, it was Midnight and the officer was still driving. "Hey! I'm hungry and thirsty!" I said hitting my head softly on the window. He lowered the window, letting all of the cool air into the back. "What was that?" said the officer. "I said I was hungry and-" I then realized that he had told me to mumble if I was hungry or thirsty. I tried my best to communicate with him "I'm hungry and thirsty." I mumbled. "Ah, of course you are." said the officer. He threw me a sandwich and a drink. "You can speak now." the officer had said. "How am I supposed to eat this?" I said. "Think of something," said the officer. I was getting pretty angry, I tried staying calm. I slowly lowered my body to eat the sandwich and drink. I knew I couldn't drink anything, but I could eat. I took a gigantic bite out of the sandwich. It was so good, I told the officer "Can we stop and get a drink at a water fountain?" "Sure, I need gas anyway, let's stop here." He let me out and I ran to a drinking fountain while he got gas. He saw me struggling to drink water, so he helped me drink it by pushing the button. I then felt some type of thick stick hit me in the leg. I fell to the ground with pain, "Time's up, Jono" said the officer. I was getting angry again, but I tried to remain calm. He helped me up and escorted me to the car. The trip was another four hours long       I then saw the one place I didn't want to be in. It was Banland, it looked so frightening from the outside. I was hoping it would be more pleasant on the inside. Waiting outside of the Banland gates were two guards holding machine guns ready to shoot anyone who tried to escape. My leg was still hurting me after the hard hit I took from the officer's baton. I was limping the entire walk into Banland. The officer who had gave me a ride then got back into his car, turned back, and left. I was then met with a new officer, who seemed nicer than the first. I was wrong. He escorted me to my cell, next to someone named "Dignity." I didn't know who this "Dignity" was, I had heard of his name, but I had never met him. I was pushed so hard into my cell that I fell to the ground, hard. I knew, this was going to be a long stay.

Freeing Dignity: Chapter 2

The ride in the squad car wasn't so pleasant. I wasn't allowed to speak my mind inside of the car, so the only way I could speak was in my mind, and the only person I could speak to was myself. The officer had told me to be quiet the entire way or else he'd pull over and call the judge and tell him to sentence me to life in Banland. So, I remained quiet. I was only allowed to talk whenever the officer told me to. I looked out the window of the squad car and saw the city I had lived in my entire life. How beautiful the sights were, the tall skyscrapers, the small businesses, large businesses also. Sunset was the perfect time to see the city, it looked amazing. The officer had told me that this ride was going to be more than a six hour long trip. He told me if I wanted water or food, that I had to mumble. I wasn't hungry nor thirsty, maybe because I had just ate a few hours ago. My hands were handcuffed, so I couldn't escape. But, he had locked the doors of the car anyway. He said, if I somehow opened that door, he'd shoot me down. I remained still. "You're a very quiet person, Jono. Oh wait, I have you silenced, ha!" said the officer to me. I had almost burst in anger, but I remained calm. I knew if I had been mad, I would've been sentenced for a longer time. We had finally passed the city I had grown up in, I'm going to miss that city. We finally hit the desert, where a war was going on between two groups, the names of those groups were unknown. It had finally become nighttime, it was really dark in the car. The desert air was hot, so was the car. I was sweating a lot, my sweat was as if heavy rain was in the forecast. He turned on the air conditioning, closed the window which allowed me and him to communicate. The cold air wasn't coming into the back seat because he had blocked off the cold air from coming into the back, I knew, I wasn't going to have a pleasant ride.

Freeing Dignity: Chapter 1

The Moderator named "TrinityBlox12," told me "JonoP, you have broken a rule of Roblox, and shall be forced to attend court." I was frightened by the chilling statement that the Moderator had said. I knew that I would be banished for a long time. He raised his Ban Hammer up in the air, sky high and exclaimed "Be gone! Rule breaker!" His Ban Hammer started falling my way at high speeds. I squinted as the Ban Hammer reached my head and closed my eyes. I had then been hit by the hammer with all of the Moderator's might. I opened my eyes and the room was pitch black. I looked around for the Moderator, but he wasn't there. I thought for sure he'd be hidden within the shadows. So, I called out his name "Trinity!" No answer. I tried one more time "Trinity! Answer me!" still no answer. I knew for sure I had been knocked out and I was in a dream. I then heard a loud voice. "Awaken now! JonoP! You're currently in the court!" exclaimed the judge. I opened my eyes slowly, not knowing where I was. The judge was right, I was in court. I had never been banned before, so this had been a new experience for me. I looked around the courtroom and saw the jury chatting about my potential sentence. "Your honor, the jury and I have been talking, and we have realized that this type of scamming can lead up to a life sentence in Banland," explained the representative. "Yes, I do realize this sentence also," said the judge. "May I have a word?" said my lawyer. "Go ahead," said the judge. "My client's offense was his first, so I think you should have some sympathy?" said my lawyer. "I object!" said the representative. "Well, I'm the only one who can say that in my court," said the judge. "I hereby sentence JonoP to 14 days in Banland." said the judge. "The jury agrees," said the representative. I nearly broke down crying after hearing the sentence. "Officer! Please escort mister JonoP to a squad car!" said the judge. I had lost all respect in my lawyer then. "I'm sorry Jono! I tried to tell him to give you a lighter sentence, but he wouldn't listen!" said my lawyer. "It's okay, I understand." I said. "Well, this is goodbye Jono," said my lawyer. "Goodbye," I said. "Quit your talking! Get in the car!" exclaimed the officer. I looked as my friends and lawyer waved goodbye to me as the squad car took me away into the sunset.

Freeing Dignity: Prologue

I was getting into trading items on Roblox. I had been trading hats, gears, and more for about a year now and haven't had any problems, until now. My name is Johnaton Pierce or as my username says "JonoP." Well, another user named Aquarefresca13 said he'd give me his Dominus for my inexpensive 6,000 Robux limited item called the Dominator, a new hat released on the catalog. The trading system had just been released, nobody knew the value of anything, but I did. He said he got his Dominus in a gift which he earned by getting a bunch of place visits. The gift was sold when he was inactive on Roblox for a month for 19,000 Robux. I didn't have a chance in purchasing it because I couldn't afford that gift. I knew the value, he didn't. We then traded the items, he was so happy when he got my item, I was more happy when I received his. A Moderator named "TrinityBlox12" had appeared with his Ban Hammer in hand. I knew then, that I had made a critical mistake.
